Believe it or not, the Rolling Stones once tried to sell folks on Rice Krispies. A British ad, likely from either 1963 or 1964, has started circulating on the web and it’s pretty clear its jingle is being performed by the rock legends.

The ad, which reportedly had a short TV run, has actually been on YouTube for awhile, but for some reason it started gaining in popularity this week.

Of course this isn’t the first time a Stones song was used in a commercial. In 2013 the band was paid $1.5 million to allow “Sympathy For The Devil” to appear in a Super Bowl ad.

If only it had Mick Jagger preening around carrying a bowl of cereal, it would be perfect.
