Good Samaritan Ministries supports people who are trying to work their way out of poverty. They offer programs to help place people with affordable housing, get better jobs and develop strong neighborhood connections to improve quality of life.

The Holland-based charity has been helping West Michgan residents to lift themselves out of poverty toward a better life since 1969.

Intially helping the neighborhood as a food pantry and clothing closet, the organization has expanded to offer housing services as well as establishing a Circles program, employing community mentors to help low income families meet their financial goals.

Good Samaritan Ministries believes that everyone has something to contribute to the work of ending poverty and homelessness. There are many ways that you can get involved in their mission to make a real change in West Michigan.
