The Yumbo Is Back! The Yumbo Is Back!

Sort of. It's a ham sandwich. It's being sold once again by Burger King. And it's a name boomers remember from the 1970's. Other than that, it's a stretch.

Some claim the Yumbo hasn't been sold since 1974, but I'm pretty sure some Burger King's had it into the 1980's. I remember seeing it and eating in my teen years. The sandwich was ham and cheese on a round hamburger seeded bun. Was tasty then.

Some reports I have seen online say it is less than desirable now. Either way, I wish more chains would bring back older items. I, for one, LIKED the Arch Deluxe.
