Things I Think About Standing In Line At The Store…
May 16, 2011 11:01 AM So I was standing in line at the store last night…waiting to pay in one of those “self serve” lines. And as I was waiting behind 3 women who paid for their ENTIRE 65 dollar bill using ONE DOLLAR BILLS AT A TIME, I got to thinking…
-Why is my cell phone being such a pain? The camera has broken twice now, it isn’t holding a charge anymore, and I pay 180 bucks a month for this? (I won’t mention the provider, but it rhymes with “Lee Bobile”
-I see the “Globe” tabloid has a picture of the late Osama Bin Ladenon it’s cover…and its a picture with what looks like a hand drawn “X” through his face…Like my 7 year old daughter had drawn it. I would have taken a picture of it had my phone’s camera worked. (see above paragraph)
-I really shouldn’t be shopping when I’m really hungry. Thought about breaking into the cinnamon rolls I picked up…but waited til I got out in the car…
-OK, just missed 2 calls in the store…cell phone close to being thrown out the window on 28th Street.
-Really…ONE dollar at a time…could be worse I guess. I don’t have a crudely drawn “X” through my picture…
