There are hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails in Michigan that you can take advantage of all year round and now you have a handy source for all the information you need.  MITrails.org is a great resource for planning your next biking or hiking trip on our Michigan Trail System.

The Michigan Trails website features an interactive map of all of the multi-use trails, connector routes, trails under development, and proposed or planned trails.  And while you are planning your trip on the interactive map, you can also find trail events, places to shop, dine and stay along the trails, and much more.

The website has the trail systems broken up into four different regions, West, Upper, North and East Michigan with West Michigan having by far the greatest amount of trails!  Check out the maps for all of the regions below.

Michigan Trails also puts out a magazine once a year that is available at on their website or at the State of Michigan Welcome Centers and most tourist information centers, bike & fitness shops, and bookstores in Michigan.
