67-year-old Ann Perez deserves our undying respect, because when I'm 67, I think climbing into the ring to fight a 24-year-old would be the last thing on my mind. I'll probably just feel lucky that I'm alive.

But she had a dream, and she lived it. A little too much. There's a lesson her, I'm just not sure what it is.

At the age of 67, Perez made her MMA debut in the Sparta Combat League. Her opponent: 24-year-old Laura Dettman.

If you’re looking for a good underdog story, go throw on 'Rudy' or something, because she gets pulverized. Seriously – it hurts to watch, although she holds her own for 30 seconds.

First of all, what sport allows a 67-year-old to fight a 24-year-old? (I compete in CrossFit at 57, but it's against other 57-year-olds!!)

Second of all, why wouldn't Laura have beacked off a little? After all, a win is a win, do you really have to beat Grandma up?
