Mark Zuckerburg finally succumbed to public pressure and announced that the social media giant will finally create a 'dislike' button to use.

I'd thought I'd get a head start on some West Michigan things we all already have issues with.

In honor of this long overdue feature, here are five West Michigan things that have my seal of disapproval.

1. Lake Effect Snow -- I love winter sports as much as the next guy, but 48 inches in November? Screw that. Here's hoping the lake doesn't start churning up snowfall until January.

2. Elderly Drivers -- There's too many octogenarians populating our roads. I know, I know, I'm no spring chicken, but come on! Yesterday I almost got killed by a 90 year old woman who blew through the four way stop at Diamond and Knapp going 45 mph! Calm down, Grandma.

3. The S-Curve -- Who decided that both sides of the Grand River needed to share the burden of US-131? Since the return of heavy traffic after Labor Day, there's been four major tie-ups around the curve and it's exits. I'm not sure we can fix it, but it's a big thumbs down for me.

4. Beer Festivals -- This is a tough one for me to write down, because I honestly LOVE the craft beer choices in Grand Rapids and the resulting outdoor gatherings to guzzle it. And there in lies the problem: with a new beer festival every weekend, I'm becoming an alcoholic. Let's decide on four good ones, and cancel the rest, okay?

5. Parking Downtown -- Need I say more? They're about to eliminate two surface lots near where I work to build more places for people who will be driving in to use them!!! And then it costs more than the price of a gym membership to get a monthly pass at most downtown lots. I'm convinced parking here is a cartel run by the Illuminati, or at least some guy named 'Ellis'.

Honorable mention --

The line at the 28th Street Taco Bell -- Why is everyone in Kentwood eating there at the same time? Can't a guy just grab a taco at 9:30pm?

So what do you dislike about West Michigan?
