After extreme heat followed by rain then tornadoes, West Michigan will feel a piece of what was Tropical Storm Gordon.

This Tropical Storm missed Hurricane status by only 4 MPH according to New York Times,

The storm made landfall just west of the Alabama-Mississippi border at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center said, with a maximum sustained wind speed of 70 miles per hour.

Florida and Mississippi got the brunt of this storm.  Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas will experience very heavy rain fall for the rest of this week through the weekend as the storm makes it's way toward Michigan.

By Sunday Night into Monday Morning the National Weather Service predicts heavy rainfall with winds up to 20 MPH.
