Holy-shmoly...Tulip time is less than a month away.  Where did the time go.

Tulip Time in Holland, is one of the top, major festivals in the United State.  Maybe, international, since people do come from around the world.  It's a fabulous gathering in West Michigan.  But it doesn't happen without hundreds of volunteer putting in countless hours making it work.

Again this year, the Tulip Time Festival is looking for more volunteers to help with this years event.

Our news partner, WZZM TV13, reported that organizers are holding the third annual VolksFeest Volunteer Celebration on Thursday, April 11th. The purpose of the event is to thank current volunteers and look for new ones.

It takes 800 volunteers to make the Festival come together every year, so your help is seriously needed.  Some areas needing more volunteers include course marshals for the new bike race called the Queen's Day Crit in downtown Holland, bartenders for the Beer Tent, parking attendants, DJs, sound technicians and kids activity leaders.

The festival volunteer event will be at Art Van Furniture at 12610 Felch Street in Holland from 5:30 to 8pm this Thursday, April 11th.
