Two Bridges Close To Flooding In Grand Rapids
With water levels still rising, Mayor George Heartwell has closed the Fulton Street Bridge as of this morning around 10 am. The mayor closed the bridge after concerns were raised that debris floating down the river could damage a major utility cable that is attached to the bridge.
Kent County has also closed the North Park Bridge over the Grand river as well, due to rising waters.
