U2 has been forced to cancel this week’s residency on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” after front man Bono was injured in a cycling accident in Central Park over the weekend.

The band has promised Jimmy Fallon they will reschedule.

However, in the meantime, Fallon may be looking for someone to fill the void. How's your singing voice?

A statement on the band’s website says Bono needed surgery to repair his arm, and is expected to make a full recovery. “It looks like we will have to do our 'Tonight Show' residency another time -- we're one man down,” read a message on the site, signed by the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr.

Unfortunately, because of the injury, the band will not be able to perform on "The Tonight Show." Their week-long residency was expected to begin tonight. So far there's no word on when the band will reschedule for or who will replace them on the NBC late night talker this week. Wait - a busted arm? Bono can still sing...what the heck?
