UPDATE: Missing Toddler from Newaygo County Found Safe

UPDATE: Amber Rose Smith, the toddler missing from her Newaygo County home has been found safe. She was found by DNR searchers approximately 1 3/4 miles from her home, standing in the woods. Amber's father says that he stepped away for a minute to use the restroom while the girl was watching television. When he came out, he yelled for her, but she didn't come or respond. He did note that the families dogs came running out of the woods, and that Amber would occasionally go outside and play with the dogs without telling anyone where she was going. Smith says he searched for about a half an hour before calling 911.
