From Drone footage from the Lake Shore to Meijer Gardens to folks on the roads? Here's how folks dealt with the most recent snow.

As for myself. I have to admit I got a nice new snow blower during the summer and I was really looking forward to using it this winter. Having never shoveled snow in my life, I had these ideas of how neat it would be.

I will say I tried shoveling for about 10 minutes and said screw this and fired up the snow blower and did my whole driveway in like 15 minutes. It was magical. However, now I'm officially over it. Its like mowing your grass ... but every day or you can't pull in and out of your garage. In a way snow is worse than doing leaves.

I guess, in retrospect. I don't mind mowing the grass at all. I don't enjoy raking leaves, but I enjoy doing that more than dealing with snow.

Now, before you call me scrooge. I'll say what I told one of my friends from my hometown in Louisiana.

Snow is like a mullet. Business in the front yard party in the backyard. Sitting inside my house drinking coffee watching the snow gently fall in my backyard is extremely zen. However, that zen goes right out the window when I realize we can't leave until I bundle up and deal with 5000 cubic feet of snow. Or ... however snow is measured.
