I'm not sure what's scarier about this video. The fact that people refuse to slow down when driving in snowy weather, or the fact that there are dudes that hang out on free way overpasses in bad weather hoping to get video of a multi-car wreck.

Recently on a trip to Northern Michigan, I stopped off to grab a burger at a fast food joint in Kalkaska. On the door was a lenghty dissertation on how the people up there survive the long winters by slowing down when it snowed. As long as you're not in a hurry to get there, the sign implied, you'll get there.

It's great advice that plays out in this video recorded during a recent storm in Toronto, where these guys seemed to be waiting for a major accident to happne, and it did.

Lucky them. The action starts at 1:42.

No one was seriously hurt.
