Weird Al Yankovic Won’t Cash In On Prince’s Death

With all the drama going on in the aftermath of Prince’s death, one unlikely man is bowing out of it all. And I'm kind of upset about it.

TMZ asked Weird Al Yankovic, who has wanted to parody Prince songs for years if he would approach the family to get a thumbs up. You see, the creative genius always gets the artist’s approval before releasing a humorous take on a popular song, and he's written a few parodies to the tune of Prince songs.

Al’s answer was simple. “Nothing’s changed. Prince didn’t like it.” So, regardless of how much money could be made, and despite the artist’s death you will never see Weird Al’s “Bad Looking Toupee" (to the tune of "Raspberry Beret").

Even though, I would have LOVED to see Weird Al's videos parodying Prince you have to admit, that’s class. Now let's get him on the Super Bowl half time show. I think he's earned that honor, don't you?
