Whitecaps Win Longest Game in Franchise’s 21-Year History [Video]
Monday night was a long night for the West Michigan Whitecaps, as the team played its longest game in the franchise’s 21-year history.
The Midwest League game had been tied at 2-2 since the third inning, when Lake County took a 3-2 lead in the top of the 17th.
The Whitecaps answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning to send it to the 18th. A bases-loaded walk won it for the Whitecaps in the 18th!

Congrats to the Whitecaps and congrats to all of the fans that stayed to the end!
Was part of the longest game in Whitecaps history last night! Thought I was gonna have to get back out on the mound there towards the end!
