Back in the days before everyone had a 73-inch high-definition flat-screen LED TV, people crowded around little 13-inch wooden boxes in neighborhood living rooms watching Sid Caesar, Jack Benny, Milton Berle and Lucille Ball in glorious black and white.

Those people have all passed away, and so has black-and-white TV.

BuzzFeed shared a recent gallery of famous black-and-white TV stars from the '50s and '60s in glorious color. It's pretty interesting seeing Lucy's hair actually red.
