What are the happiest states in the U.S.?

Here's a hint: Michigan isn't one of them. Make that Michigan and the whole Midwest for that matter. They are right at the bottom of the most happy list.

The more Upper West region of the country dominates the list of the Happiest States in the country.

Utah, Minnesota and North Dakota are the top three.

Michigan is the 40th happiest state, or at the top of the bottom 10.

Maybe soon, Michigan will start to inch up that list, with events like ArtPrize; and the economy truly rebounds.
