Every day we get farther away from the music of our youth. So to keep it alive at some point we're going to have to expose younger people to it.

The good news is kids today are way more receptive to their parents (and even grandparents) music than we were to our parents music.

Video producers The Fine Bros asked ten teens if they recognize some of the biggest hits from the 1980s.

Surprisingly, some of them could identify most of the songs, while others were unsure of what the hell was going on. Either way, you could tell they all had a pretty good appreciation of one of the strangest eras of pop music, the '80s. Mainly because movie soundtracks have kept the era alive.
