The hotel from 'The Shining' is made less scary with a few touches of modern day twee thrown into it.

A guy noticed that Wes Anderson and Stanley Kubrick frame their shots in a similar way - and made a super cool movie mashup.

This mashup parody imagines Stanley Kubrick's classic 1980 horror film, 'The Shining,' as a Wes Anderson flick by combining clips from Kubrick's classic horror film with clips from Anderson's 'The Grand Budapest Hotel.' The result: 'The Grand Overlook Hotel!'

If only they made 'Redrum' a designer cocktail.

Strangely enough, a prequel to 'The Shining' called 'The Overlook Hotel' is really in the works, however, Wes Anderson is not involved.
