This video, thankfully, does not hail from Michigan. In the Netherlands sure they could salt the roads, or they could leave it be and have the streets turn into a sweet ice rink.

As a person who just moved to town, weather as cold as it has been lately is pretty novel to me. This video is wild to me.

Thankfully this has been a mild winter, so far, *knock on wood* so I haven't had to deal with the 2 feet of snow in one day kind of weather I've heard rumors.

I'll take this easing into the super cold. Don't get me wrong it gets cold where I'm from. I remember some especially cold mornings growing up when it would get down to 19 degrees. You don't get weather like that in Shreveport very often.

I guess looking at the flip side of the coin, we won't get 104 in the summer time here. (At least I assume not)

Still, I have nice boots, jacket, and gloves. Heck, I even a scarf now. I'm good to go ice skating should the need arise.

Not that I've ever ice skated before.
