Yellow Blinking Left Turn Traffic Arrows Coming to Michigan [VIDEO]

Blinking yellow arrows are showing up in intersections across Michigan - they were designed to increase safety and efficiency, but I'm still a little confused how these will help.

I think I'm more concerned about drivers these as opposed to the old way. What do you think? Will these actually help? Worth the money? I really don't think so.
