I am always amazed at the magic that it takes to put together the songs you hear on the radio.

I've done enough audio production over the years to know how painstaking of a process it is. I can't even imagine mixing down a song, part by part, instrument by instrument, to get the final mixed down version.

I happened to stumble across an interesting video online the other day... I will never listen to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" the same way again!!

The video was recorded while they were doing a documentary on the making of that song. Guitarist Brian May sits down with a recording engineer and goes over the original master tapes. He plays each individual part...isolated by itself...and explains what went into making that audio masterpiece and a huge hit for Queen. It was reportedly the most expensive single ever made at the time of its release.

The video is long (27 minutes in length), but trust me, watch the entire video and you will have a new appreciation for the song "Bohemian Rhapsody". You will never hear the song the same way again!

Here is the link for the video from the www.societyofrock.com website.
