    The Hudsonville Community Fair runs through Saturday. On Friday night at 7 pm it’s The Williams Family Band. There will also be SJO Supercross Racing. Wrapping up the fair on Saturday night at 6 pm it’s the Monster Truck Show.

    On Friday night it’s Circus Night. Come one, come all! Clowns, stilt walkers, the bearded woman, and many more entertainers will be at the ballpark. Saturday it will be a Salute to the Griffins. The Whitecaps are teaming up with the Grand Rapids Griffins and will wear Griffins themed jersey's. Bring Teddy Bears to throw onto the field after the Whitecaps score their first run! Other Griffins' hits will also be featured including; chuck-a-puck, the whisper game, a post-game shootout, and much more! After the game, it will be Family Fare Fireworks! And on Sunday, it’s Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Family Day. The first 1,000 kids eat free! Be sure to get your face painted on the concourse from 1 pm-3 pm. Also get autographs and play catch on the field before the game from 1:15-1:30 pm. Kids Run the Bases after the game presented by Milk Means More.

    Wag 'n' Wade Dog Swim

    The Wag 'n' Wade dog swim is back for its second year! The City of Grand Rapids is closing the 2018 pool season with another pawsome event at Richmond Pool. The event is free and open to all community members but pre-registration is required. The event is split into three 45 minute sessions this year. Each session has room for 175 dogs. Session 1: Small Dogs from 1:00-1:45 pm (meant for dogs under 35 pounds). Session 2: Large Dogs from 2:00 - 2:45 pm (meant for dogs over 35 pounds). And Session 3: Older Dogs from 3:00-3:45 pm (meant for dogs ages 8+). What you'll need to bring:

    • Proof of rabies vaccination (if you didn't upload them when registering)
    • Leash for taking your dog in and out of the pool area
    • A towel (optional)
