10 Things To Do this Weekend: December 20th-22nd
It’s the final weekend before Christmas. That means there are many Christmas, Chanukah, and Winter related activities this weekend. We also have more tickets for the Grand Rapids Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve. And, if you want to travel back to the 80’s for a few hours...there are a couple of events to do just that!

The Grand Rapids Ball Drop is returning to downtown Grand Rapids for New Year’s Eve. General Admission tickets are free, but you can only get them at our ticket stops. Alonzo Bodden, who won Season 3 on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," has been a panelist on NPR's "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me," and his special, "Heavy Lightweight," is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. In 2011, he starred in the comedy special "Who's Paying Attention" on Showtime, released a DVD, and hosts a podcast of the same name. Alonzo has made the rounds on the late night television circuit including appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," and "The Keenen Ivory Wayans" show. His film credits include "Scary Movie 4," "The Girl Next Door," and "Bringing Down the House" starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah.

The Mega 80's sprung onto the Detroit music scene and have not looked back. Their mix of accurately replicated sounds of the 80's era, their expansive play list and retro style has made them a dominating force in entertainment.
