Three different shooting incident left eleven people in the hospital this weekend in Grand Rapids.

According to FOX 17 the first incident occurred on Friday afternoon when an SUV drove down Bates St. SE and starting shooting. Thankfully, no one was injured. However, later that evening, two men were found shot near Adams and Kalamazoo Ave. One of them ended up dying later at the hospital. The shooting occurred after a vigil that the two men had attended.

Then on Saturday night, around 11 p.m., a 25-year-old man showed up to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries claiming he had been shot, near Michigan & Monroe, but did not tell authorities by whom.

The fourth shooting happened on Saturday night at a place of business. Police were called around 1:30 a.m. to East Paris Hookah Lounge.

Police say someone called 911 saying at least 10 shots were fired from both the inside and outside the business

Shards of broken glass inside the building and on the sidewalk were found. Seven people were shot and sent to either Mercy Health or Butterworth Hospital as a result of the shooting. A 29-year-old victim is currently in serious condition with life-threatening injuries after being shot in the back. The other victims have less serious injuries.

What's crazy is that nobody is cooperating with authorities as to who the shooter could be. No suspects have been identified in ay of the shootings that took place this weekend.

GRPD told FOX 17 that the man who died on Friday marks 2020's 23rd homicide victim in Grand Rapids.

Police are continuing to investigate the shootings. It's unknown whether they are related or not.
