If you are someone who loves dogs, this story will get you right where it counts. A couple who "were breeding dogs for profit and got in over their heads" in Allegan County surrendered over 350 dogs to animal control. No one at the control could ever remember taking in this many animals at one time

"The dogs -- mostly Shih Tzu and Pomeranian mixes, with a few Maltese and Yorkshire Terriers -- were found crusted with feces and "urine-soaked to the bone". Many also had issues with their teeth, "plus there are lots of pregnant moms and lots of babies."

WZZM TV 13 had this report "UPDATE: Info on adopting rescued dogs"
