400 Jobs Coming to Studio Park in GR

Grand Rapids Michigan just keeps booming as a business is moving its global headquarters to the new Studio Park and with the move come some new jobs.

According to WOOD, the company, Acrisure, LLC, that is currently located in Caledonia Township will be moving downtown GR to the new Studio Park. Many workers will just be transferring while other new jobs will become available.

If you are wondering what is Acrisure, LLC, well they are a billion dollar insurance brokerage with nearly 500 locations across America with 14 branches scattered around the world.

Acrisure will be leasing over 100,000 square feet of Class A office space and plan on expanding to a second office building that has already been approved by the Downtown Development Authority.

The office space construction will begin in 2019 and should be completed by the end of 2020.

Studio Park will opening its restaurant, One Twenty Three Tavern, September 27 while the Studio C are looking at a 9 screen movie theater, stores, lofts, a hotel and concert venue. Studio Park is located just south of Van Andel Arena.
