A GoPro Look Inside the San Diego Humane Society’s Kitten Nursery

Part of my job is sitting in front of a computer and finding things to write about on the internet about (and I suppose talk about on the radio too). Sounds rough right? Sitting and going to a bunch of different websites all day.

I'm like an internet detective, seeing what the coolest thing of the day is. Sometimes, the negative stories and videos are the big things of the day and it really brings me emotionally down. When that happens I will divert my search to cute stuff, and happy things. Like this kitten video. Sometimes you just need a reminder that there are good and cute things in this world.

Kitten season is the time of year when cats give birth, flooding animal shelters and rescue groups across the nation with homeless litters… San Diego Humane Society’s Kitten Nursery cares for thousands of orphaned kittens every year. These neonatal kittens require 24-hour care that is unavailable anywhere else and before their kitten nursery program was established in 2008, kittens this young would be euthanized because of a lack of resources required to care for them.

Purrlease be a responsible pet owner and spay or neuter your fur babies and of course if you're looking to add an additional family member, ADOPT don't shop! :)
