Considering a getaway? Allegiant Airlines has an offer for you. They have announced a new destination non-stop flight. The new routes will go from Gerald R. Ford International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport.

Fares for the new scheduled flights are starting as low $56 for one way tickets in celebration of the launch. Seats and dates are limited, and fares are not available on all flights. You have to purchase your ticket by May 29th to receive the low rate. The new route will operate twice weekly.

Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning, Drew Wells told Fox 17,

"More than ever, we know travelers will appreciate our brand of air travel: nonstop flights that take them directly to their destination, without the hassle of layovers or connections. Newark is a perfect gateway to New York City and creates a convenient travel option by connecting passengers through smaller, less crowded airports.”

Allegiant was founded in 1997 and is certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation as a "Scheduled Air Carrier" with authority to fly scheduled and charter airline operations throughout the U.S. The Company also has authority for charter service to Canada and Mexico.
