Looking for a new job or know someone who is? Amazon is looking fill more than 1,000 full-time positions at their Gaines Township Fulfillment Center.

Employees will pick, pack, and ship Amazon.com customer orders from the 855,000 thousand-square-foot fulfillment center near 68th Street and East Paris.

Fox 17 reports minimum wage at Amazon starts at $15 and new employees can make up to $16.15 per hour.

Amazon spokesperson Andre Woodson told Fox 17,

“We’re excited to join the Grand Rapids community and create great full-time, full-benefit jobs, It’s a really exciting time for Amazon and hopefully for the community as well.”

Amazon says they offer full-time employees a full range of benefits, 401(k) with 50 percent match, and up to 20 weeks paid parental leave. There's also Amazon's "Career Choice Program" in which Amazon will pay up to 95% of tuition and fees (up to a yearly maximum) towards a certificate or diploma in qualified fields of study.

Potential candidates must be over 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
