If you are a FOX 17 fan and have Direct TV, you might have to find another way to get your MLB or American Idol fix. The satellite company plans on cutting the Tribune Company station--along with WGN America--on Saturday at midnight unless a retransmission agreement can be signed before then. As Peter Griffin might say "Holy Crap!"

Fox 17 has started running commercials and a crawl on the bottom of their programming alerting viewers of the potential change. If you have a different pay tv service (Comcast, Charter, Dish or AT&T) you won't notice any issues. Also if you have an antenna inside or out you will be fine, too. If the problem isn't solved, you might miss the Cubs not winning the World Series again, in year 103...
