Arby’s Starts Selling Venison Sandwiches and Sells Out in 30 Minutes
Arby’s started selling venison sandwiches Saturday at two of it’s locations in West Michigan and sold out in 30 minutes at their Cedar Springs location.
According to WZZM, people started lining up to try the sandwich a half hour before the restaurant opened at 10 a.m. Once they started selling the sandwich, they were sold out within thirty minutes.
Rob Lynch, Arby’s Brand President & Chief Marketing Officer talked to WZZM about why they added it to the menu:
"Bringing venison to our menu also allows us to continue to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to proteins," he said. "You simply can’t find this at other restaurant chains."
The Venison is only being served at 17 locations in 6 states. And in case you’re wondering, NO they aren’t going out and hunting for the deer. Rob Lynch told WZZM where they get their venison:
Lynch said the company sources free-range farmed deer that feed on fresh grass, and he is confident that " deer hunters are going to love this sandwich."
If you want to try one of the sandwiches, they’re only available until Monday night, but in West Michigan you can stop by one of the TWO locations serving them (IF they got any more in):
- 1215 M 89, Plainwell, Mich.
- 4040 17 Mile Rd. NE, Cedar Springs, Mich.
