We certainly are. We're getting less food but prices aren't going down.

Burger King announced that they're reducing the amount of chicken nuggets sold in meals from 10 down to eight. And they've pulled the Whopper from their two-for-six or two-for-five promotions. Great, just great. Less food...same cost!

It all revolves around supply chain and inflation, an issue affecting almost everything in our lives, gas, entertainment, and, of course food.

Burger King is removing the Whopper as a value option and reducing its chicken nugget count from 10 pieces to 8 is yet another sweeping affect that rising labor and operation costs as well as stifling supply chain issues continue to plague the restaurant industry.

But Burger King isn't the only one cutting back. In case you hadn't noticed, lots of other fast food joints quietly cut out loved items on the menu last year leading into 2022.

According the the website Eat This Not That, Arby's, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, Dunkin, Subway, and Taco Bell all made cuts.

Arby's dropped the Potato Cakes. Did you ever try one? Also, they cut the Loaded Italian sandwich. They stopped selling several of the meats, so it bye bye. And last but not least, the pizza and ham sliders went away.

Popeyes

Popeye's cancelled their Cajun Rice along with their Green Beans. That was really hard to understand since the Cajun Rice was especially popular.

Chick-fil-A cut their large milk shakes out. Now you have to settle for just one size, and 16oz. one. Question! Isn't that enough?

Wendy's cut out one of their most popular dipping sauces, the sriracha dipping sauce. Why? Their lips are sealed. Also, they discontinued their entire Pub line.

Subway quietly got rid of some of their condiments, like their Caesar dressing. Hmmm.

Taco Bell

And, Taco Bell dumped their Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Boy, did that last longer than a week or so? Did you even get one?

It's looking like a tough year for most all places since there are shortages of staff, not to mention chicken wings, oat milk, and even Heinz Ketchup packets.

What are we to do?
