Did you know that the Kent District Library offers a program called the Perk Pass? Not only does your library card hold the key to thousands of books, CDS, and digital downloads, it also is your key to free tickets to attractions all over West Michigan.

How do I get a Kent District Library Card?

In order to get a card you have to live in or reside in the Kent District Library's service area. Not sure if you qualify? Don't worry, you can visit this helpful chart on their website.

If you qualify- you can apply for your card in person at your branch or online via their website. *note: you'll have to stop by your branch in person to activate your card, but if you fill this info in before you go, it will make the process a little more quick.

Grand Rapid Parks and Recreation recently added skateboards to the Thrive Outside Gear Library. Did you know about all the cool stuff you can rent for free? Just about anything you'd need for a camping trip you'll find in the Gear Library at Roosevelt Park Gym, plus team sports equipment, clothing, picnic supplies, even gear for cold weather activities too! The Gear Library is located at the gym at Roosevelt Park at 739 Van Raalte Dr. SW in Grand Rapids. The library is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
