Awesome 80’s Artist Tone Loc Collapses On Stage In Iowa

Tone Loc, famous for his 80's rap hits like "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing", collapsed on stage in Des Moines Iowa Saturday night. The Des Moines Register reported the singer, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was taken to a local hospital and his condition was not known as of Sunday.

Loc, who has been on stage since the mid 80's, has also been in movies and on TV shows. The Register reported Sunday

"It's not the rapper's first time collapsing on stage. Loc, who is best known for his 1980s hits "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing," collapsed and had a seizure during a 2009 concert in Pensacola, Florida. Authorities said he had apparently overheated. Loc also collapsed in 1995 while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game. The reason he collapsed wasn't given."
