Looks like someone wanted some extra cash for Black Friday by robbing a bank in Barry County.

According to WOOD, the Barry County Sheriff says there has been a bank robbery that has taken place in Middleville, Michigan.

Since the robbery took place during school hours, the superintendent of Thornapple Kellogg Schools, Robert Blitchok, had the area schools schools on lock down. Students were in special locations in the schools until the all clear was given. The lock down was lifted at 2 p.m and classes went back to normal.

The robbery took place at the Chemical Bank that is located in the 300 block of Arlington Street that is near Sherman Street.

At this time there are no more details regarding the bank robbery. So not sure if the suspect has been caught or if the suspect managed to get away with any cash.
