Body of Woman Found Along Lake Michigan Shore Identified

The body of a woman found in Lake Michigan north of Warren Dunes State Park near Bridgman on Sunday has been identified.

Wood TV 8 reports that the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman as 24-year-old Eddisa Concepcion Herrera.

Concepcion Herrera has been missing since Dec. 21 after jumping into Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach in Chicago. NBC 5 reports that two men jumped in the water with her. One was able to get out on his own, the other was rescued and taken the hospital.

Investigators have ruled her death accidental.
