If you grew up in Grand Rapids, TV back in the day meant a few things. Romper Room on Channel 8, The TV3 Clubhouse on Channel 3, And Bozo.

The World's Most Famous clown was originated by Larry Harmon, and a man named Bob Bell played him the longest out of Chicago on WGN. Other Bozos popped up around the country, including Dick Richards, who played the West Michigan version on Channel 13.

Here's a time trip back to 1995, when "Bozo's Circus" was still a fixture on the WZZM Saturday morning lineup.

Now that Saturday morning cartoons have been relegated to Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel, it's fun to still see the tradition of children's programming from another time.
