Last weekend's most impressive buzzer beater and celebration was in Grand Rapids.

17-year-old Special Olympics athlete Walter Alvesteffer hit a buzzer beater then did a flip to pump up the crowd.

Detroit Piston Andre Drummond and former Piston Rick Mahorn have both tweeted about the play and celebration.

The shot happened at Calvin College during a Unified Basketball Game, which is a game that includes Special Olympics athletes and players without intellectual disabilities together on the same teams.

This game included former MSU star Drew Neitzel. You'll see Neitzel in the #13 jersey lifting Alvesteffer during the celebration.

Aaron Mills, Senior Marketing and Communications Director for Special Olympics Michigan, said he later asked Walter if he does gymnastics. Walter said "no" but he's started to pick up some breakdancing and really likes doing that. Walter also told him he did the flip to pump up the crowd.
