A car in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been stolen with a child inside.

According to WOOD, Grand Rapids police say that have a person of interest in custody whom may have stolen a car with a child still inside on Wednesday.

The car was running with the child inside on La Belle Street SE between Division and Jefferson avenues and then someone stole the vehicle according to Grand Rapids Police Department Sergeant John Wittkowski.

Just moments after the vehicle was swiped, it was left running with the child still in it near the intersection of Division and Hall Street.

Police located a person of interest who was located at Delaware and Lafayette SE. Police have since taken this person into custody without incident.
