Cat Stevens Returns With New Version Of Old Standard [Video]

Cat Stevens reemerged from hibernation earlier this year when he played a short set at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

After having earlier changed his name to Yusuf Islam following his conversion to Muslim, Cat is now know simply as "Yusuf" and has released a video of his bluesy take on an old American standard.

Yusuf released a new album in October, but it's his cover of "You Are My Sunshine" that's making news now.

This bluesy take on the iconic song is strangely performed in front of a Western backdrop. Yusuf will begin a short North American tour on December 1st, in Toronto, then go on to play Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
