Roth was last featured on a full Van Halen album on "1984," which was named for the year in which it was released.  Not appearing on the upcoming Van Halen album is the band's former bass player Michael Anthony. Anthony was replaced by Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfgang, in 2007.
