The Detroit Lions officially have a new quarterbacks coach, and he's coming to the team straight off of a Super Bowl Win.

Former offensive assistant coach of the Denver Broncos Brian Callahan will now be coaching the QBs in Detroit

Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter and Callahan worked together previously in Denver as offensive assistants during the 2013 season.

Callahan has nine total years of coaching experience, spending two seasons at UCLA following his playing career at the school as a quarterback, and then moving on to the NFL.

Callahan's father, Bill, is the offensive line coach for the Washington Redskins and previously was the head coach for the Oakland Raiders and the University of Nebraska.
