They may have taken 2nd place on America's Got Talent but in Michigan's eyes, they're winners.

On Tuesday, 10/8, the Detroit Youth Choir will appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show. According to WXYZ Detroit, the choir's director & some of the members (because fitting 50 people on a couch is cray) flew out to L.A. to talk with Kelly and the whole group did a live performance via satellite from Detroit. Also on the show will be the city's mayor, Mike Duggan, who gave the choir a key to the city.

Even though the DYC didn't win the million-dollar prize on AGT, local businesses and organizations started an endowment fund for the choir worth $1M, which they will also be discussing on the show.

The Kelly Clarkson Show airs at 3 p.m. on ABC.

The Detroit Youth Choir will also be in Vegas in November performing alongside Kodi Lee, who won on AGT and currently has a year residency in Vegas.
