If you're someone who brings your dog with you to Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids, that may soon change because of people not keeping their dogs on leashes.

Jason Meyer, President & CEO of the center posted on Facebook that although he's a dog  owner himself, the decision comes after receiving many complaints.

...dogs running off leashes with some complaints about dogs running up to, scaring, or jumping on children.

Because of this, their attorneys are recommending the ban on dogs. However, Meyer said that they will give people one last chance to make it right.

The ultimate goal is to keep everyone visiting the park safe, and if there's another complaint or dogs are seen without a leash; you unfortunately will have to find a different place to take your furry friend.
