The price of gas keeps going down. And overall I'm pretty good with that. Cheaper gas can't be a bad thing, can it? Maybe.

Do you remember when gas was last under two dollars a gallon? I do. 2009. I lived in Louisville, Ky., at the time.

I also remember $1.57 being about the lowest the price was since the mid 1980s, when I first got my drivers' licence. Back then, I remember paying about 70 cents a gallon.

I also remember when light bulbs and electricity were invented.

The point of all of this is, the only time I have ever been fired from an adult job was in 2008 when the economy tanked. Six months later, gas bottomed out. It, of course, has rebounded and then some. But if we are to go back through another global financial crisis to have gas be below $2 a gallon, I'll stick to the $2.75 thank you very much.
