Flour Brand Recalled Because of E. coli Concerns

Check your pantry because there could be E. coli looming in there.

The FDA announced a voluntary recall of King Arthur flour because the presence of E. coli appeared in testing. The recall affects specific lots of 5lb & 25lb bags of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour.

The flour was made at a factory in Buffalo, NY and was distributed to stores nationwide. Some stores include Meijer, Walmart, Target, & Family Fare. It was also sold on the company's website & catalogue. You can see the specific ones on the recall list here.

The company has not gotten any reports of anyone getting sick.

The recall is an expansion of an original recall from this past June.

Anyone who has the affected flour should throw it out and you can submit for a refund here.
