Former TV Pitchman Don Lapre Dead.

Remember Don Lapre? He was the early 90's late night TV ad huckster who promised you could make "millions just like he did from tiny classified ads in the paper". While the paper's future is spotty, Lapre's isn't so good. He's dead.

Lapre had been in a federal prison awaiting trial for fraud trying to sell the "World's Greatest Vitamins" Some 220,000 people had been bilked out of 52 millions dollars. He committed suicide in prison. Guessing he knew how the trial was going to turn out....

Here was Don in his heyday...watched this many times on TLC in 1992...
