Founders Releases its First Hard Seltzer

Hard seltzers have been all the rage since White Claw came into the market and absolutely dominated it. Since then, other seltzer brands have been introduced and even breweries got in on the action. On Friday, Founders Brewing unveiled their first hard seltzer.

They shared the news on their Twitter page stating Más Agave Premium Hard Seltzer Strawberry is now on tap.

Doesn't that look so refreshing?! Mmm, especially with the strawberries.

In the Facebook comments, Founders says the seltzer is 4.5% ABV (much like other seltzers) and is gluten-free friendly! For those watching their calories Más Agave is 110 calories with 4g of sugar and 7g of carb per 12oz can.

I also noticed in the comments that lots of people are wondering if they can get this in a growler and the answer is YES! Howlers (½ the size of a growler) too.

Más Agave Premium Seltzer is available now in both the Grand Rapids and Detroit taprooms. As of right now, it's not being sold in cans/bottles outside of the taproom, but I'm remaining hopeful this will be available for purchase before the summer is over because I would love to have this in hand while chillin' poolside.

Founders Brewing reopened a month ago and are currently operating at a 50% capacity on a first-come first-serve basis. The taprooms are open Wednesday through Sunday 11a-9p. Get more info on their reopening guidelines here.
